We are currently seeking a "Leadership Annual Gift Officer" (Fundraising Campaign Officer) within our Advancement Department.

 (Full time, Permanent, Europe campus - Fontainebleau)

 

Mission

The Advancement Department is responsible for establishing relationships with alumni, friends and organisations to support the development of the school. Areas of activities include alumni relations, fundraising, donor relations, events, operations.

Within the Development team, the Leadership Annual Gift Officer will be in charge of the development of gift revenue from INSEAD alumni population, in accordance with departmental focus and goals. He will work independently on a prospect pipeline and collaborate closely with the student engagement and Young Alumni Initiative (YAI) team. He will support them proactively in Asia in order to secure leadership annual gifts for the school on an annual basis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement a comprehensive, sustainable annual and multi-year gift strategy for alumni in the region within the €10K - €50K range
  • Work closely with colleagues in annual, reunion and young alumni giving on strategies around approaches while ensuring alignment with the overall Advancement strategy.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward a pipeline of up to 150 donors and prospective donors and use appropriate tools to engage them in aspirational giving.
  • Assist with the delivery of the graduating class gift (“Robin Hood”) campaign on the Europe Campus and the implementation of the YAI strategy globally with the exception of Asia.
  • Coordinate these activities with Associate Director Student & Young Alumni Engagement
  • Fill all prospect information into the institutional database.
  • Prepare briefing notes, contact reports, and organize and attend events as necessary.
  • Work to meet annual targets in accordance with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Use travel, events and other opportunities involving the Deans, senior leadership and faculty to advance the relationship with the promotions and/or individual alumni and prospective donors.
  • Take responsibility for special projects as appropriate.

 

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in an advancement function (fundraising, donor relations, phylantropy,alumni relations)
  • Education to degree level preferred
  • Fluent English and if possible conversant in French
  • Keenness to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to be flexible, yet work to sometimes tight deadlines
  • Results-driven
  • Diplomacy
  • Sound computer and IT skills, use of new media/social networking an asset.
